Learning For Vision was born from a simple but powerful belief: when you invest in a young person’s identity, purpose, and skills, you invest in the future of entire communities.
Based in Edmonton, Alberta, we recognized a critical gap. Too many youth in our community were falling through the cracks—talented, creative, resilient individuals who simply needed direction, skills, and someone to believe in them. We decided to change that narrative through hands-on carpentry training and transformative mentorship.
Our primary focus is empowering Edmonton youth. As we’ve grown, we’ve also extended our impact beyond our city through projects like our Mount Moriah initiative in Jamaica, where we support communities working to create world-class educational environments.
Whether we’re working with youth in Edmonton or supporting education infrastructure internationally, our commitment remains the same: creating ripple effects of positive change through education and skills development.
A world where every young person has access to education, skills, and mentorship that empowers them to discover their identity, pursue their purpose, and become effective contributors to a brighter collective future.
To inspire and equip youth—beginning in Edmonton—with practical skills, strong values, and meaningful purpose through innovative education programs and community partnerships that create lasting impact locally and beyond.
We encourage outside-the-box solutions and forward-thinking approaches. The world needs creative problem-solvers, and we cultivate that mindset in everything we do.
Skills alone aren’t enough. We help youth understand who they are, what they stand for, and where they’re going—building confidence from the inside out.
Challenges are opportunities in disguise. We teach resilience, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving to create individuals who don’t just identify problems—they solve them.
No one succeeds alone. We build partnerships, foster teamwork, and create supportive networks that elevate everyone, starting in Edmonton and extending outward.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, transparency, and ethical practice in all our programs and partnerships.
Education is liberation. Whether it’s carpentry skills in Edmonton or a new library in Jamaica, we believe learning transforms lives and communities.
We don’t just teach technical skills; we develop the whole person—character, confidence, and career readiness.
Our programs provide hands-on learning with tangible outcomes and real community impact.
We prioritize our local community while extending our mission to support education projects internationally.
Every participant has access to experienced mentors who provide guidance, support, and accountability.
We partner with families, businesses, and organizations to create sustainable, long-term change.
Whether you’re an Edmonton youth seeking direction, a professional wanting to mentor, or a supporter believing in our vision—there’s a place for you in our community.
